More than 90% of the images are from Namibia. The rest are from neighbouring countries.
This site is kept as simple as possible with the aim to show a wide variety of Namibian images that can be filtered by image subject
and format category. Images are for sale only for the purpose of single fine art prints (printing to be done by a designated
printer of my choice) or editorial usage (books, high-end calenders and magazines) - see
Info for “prices” and “how it works”.
Images & Photographer
My goal is to offer high quality, artistic images related to all things Namibia.
I operate as an independent photographer, creating my own, non-commercial projects.
At age 70 (2024) I have now entered the senior phase of my career and I start to spend more of my time
editing my extensive portfolios of raw material. Hopefully more books will follow. At the same time I enjoy
creating surreal images (to the bewilderment of my old friends!) for future exhibitions.
Namibian Photo Books
I was responsible for the photography content of Antoinette de Chavonnes Vrugt’s two internationally
acclaimed Namibian Cuisine Books, “My Hungry Heart” and “Life on a Table”. Both publications received
Gourmand awards.
I self published 4 coffee table photo books;
Namibia Panorama in 2016 (text in English, French, and German),
Panorama Namibiano in 2018 (text in English, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese).
Namibia Unique in 2019 (text in English and German).
Namibia. Any Road will do in 2024 (text in English).
